In May, a bachelor’s thesis by my student was submitted, focusing on the optimization of hydroxyapatite (HAp) deposition on zinc foams. The thesis was succesfully defended in August 2025.

The 77th Congress of Chemists will take place from September 1–5, 2025, at Hotel Bellevue in the High Tatras, Slovakia. This important scientific event brings together chemists from Slovakia and the Czech Republic to foster collaboration and share the latest research across all areas of chemistry. The program includes plenary lectures, specialized sessions in analytical, inorganic, organic, and applied chemistry, as well as materials science and science communication. A practical workshop organized by Metrohm (September 4–5) will also provide hands-on experience in analytical techniques. The congress serves as a key platform for scientific exchange and the promotion of innovation in chemical research.
